Privacy
By Benchelo Editorial Team
This privacy page states what Benchelo collects, what it does not collect and how to reach us about it. It applies to benchelo.com only. Date: 2 Nov 2026.
What we collect
We collect basic traffic statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics. That service is cookieless. It reports page views, referring sites, country level location, device type and page load figures in aggregate. It does not build a profile of an individual visitor, it does not follow a visitor across other sites and it does not use cookies to do its work. We use the aggregate figures for 2 purposes: to see which comparisons readers use and to spot pages that load slowly.
What we do not collect
We run no ad trackers. We run no third-party advertising scripts, no social media pixels and no cross-site tracking tools. We have no account system, so we hold no usernames, no passwords and no payment details for readers. We do not sell personal data, because the setup above means we hold almost none to begin with. If you email us, we hold your email address and the content of your message for as long as we need to handle the query and keep a corrections record.
Cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies. Our host and content delivery setup may set strictly necessary cookies for security and load balancing, for example to confirm a request came from a browser and not a script. Those cookies carry no advertising function and no cross-site identifier. We set no optional cookies, so we show no cookie consent banner asking you to accept tools we do not run. If that changes, this page changes first and the banner follows the change, not the other way round.
Email data
Mail sent to our contact address is used only to reply and to keep an accurate corrections and vendor update record. We do not add senders to a marketing list. We run no newsletter at the date of this page. If we start one, sign-up will be a separate, explicit action and this page will be updated before the first issue is sent.
Your choices and contact
You can ask what data we hold that relates to you, and you can ask us to delete an email thread you sent. Send the request to the address on our contact page and state the email address you wrote from. We reply within 30 days. Because our analytics are aggregate and cookieless, we cannot identify or delete an individual visit record, and we say so plainly rather than offer a control that does nothing.
Changes to this page
Changes appear on this page with a new updated date. Material changes, such as adding a tracker or an account system, will be described in the first paragraph of the revised page.
